![]() ![]() From phase to phase I get 463v with this. This AAON RTU is supplying 1 leg at 240v and the other at roughly 355v. Keep in mind that in Canada, having 460v is somewhat rare. Ive replaced both motors and ran an extra wire from each capacitor inside the cabinet to each motor to accommodate the capacitors to be wired as per FASCO.įrom what i've seen before, to obtain 460v, I think you need two legs at around 277v. I arrived on site and found two new motors (5 days old) failed on thermal overload and 1 of them its bearings shot. Previous techs wired them up with a hot leg going to the cap as the RTU doesn't have enough leads from the cabinet to the motors. Now the new FASCO motors show their capacitors wired as standalone. They've gone away from the OEM 3/4hp motor to a 1hp. Several techs have been to site and have swapped motors numerous times for the past 2 years. I've got an AAON 26ton RTU with four 460v single phase condenser fan motors on it. If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact support.
